Ferro Silicon 45

Ferro Silicon 45 is a ferroalloy product with a silicon content of 41%-47%. It is made from high-quality silica, coke, and steel scrap as the main raw materials, and is produced by high-temperature reduction smelting in an electric arc furnace.

 

 

Steelmaking Industry: Used for deoxidation in converters, electric furnaces, and refining furnaces to reduce oxygen content in molten steel, decrease inclusions, and improve steel purity and mechanical properties.

 

Foundry Industry: Used as an inoculant and auxiliary spheroidizing agent to promote graphitization, reduce white cast iron tendency, and improve casting strength and surface quality.

 

Ferroalloy Production: Used for silicon supplementation and chemical composition adjustment in the production of low-silicon ferroalloys.
