Production Process
- Raw Material Pre-treatment: High-purity petroleum coke and asphalt coke are selected, calcined to remove moisture and volatiles, and carbon content is enhanced.
- Graphitization: At temperatures exceeding 2500°C, carbon atoms rearrange into a hexagonal graphite lattice structure, reducing impurities like sulfur and nitrogen while improving electrical conductivity and chemical stability.
- Processing: Crushing, screening, magnetic separation for iron removal, and grading by particle size (e.g., 1–5mm, 5–10mm) to meet diverse smelting process requirements.

Steel Smelting
Graphite carbon additives are primarily used in electric arc furnaces and converter steelmaking to precisely supplement carbon content. They are suitable for high-end steel grades like low-nitrogen steel and high-strength steel wire, enhancing molten steel purity and mechanical properties.
Foundry Industry
In ductile iron and gray iron production, it promotes graphite nucleation and spheroidization, optimizes graphite morphology, and improves casting toughness and dimensional stability. Additionally, it increases scrap steel utilization, reduces pig iron consumption, and lowers costs.
