Silicon Calcium Cored Wire

Silicon Calcium Cored Wire is a composite metallurgical additive used for steel refining and inclusion control. It consists of high-quality silicon-calcium alloy powder as the core material, covered with cold-rolled low-carbon steel strip, and processed through an automated cored wire production process.

 

 

Low Calcium Recovery: Silicon-calcium cored wire, through deep feeding, improves the effective reaction efficiency of calcium after entering the molten steel.

 

Large Oxide Inclusions: Calcium treatment can change the morphology of inclusions, transforming them into lower-melting-point inclusions that are easier to float, thus improving the cleanliness of the molten steel.

 

Continuous Casting Nozzle Clogging: Cored wire improves the state of inclusions, reduces the risk of nozzle clogging, and improves the continuous production capacity of continuous casting.
